As by magic Trequanda Farm stretches for over 1,200 hectares all around the harmony mous borough in one of the most charming landscape of the hills Sienese.
Every where it's possible to see the human worh which ha been able “to tame” the landscape with masterly skill trough the centuries and in the last few decades as protected it from the degratation which has characterized areas as beautiful.
Its wines, the DOP extravergin “Terra di Siena” olive oil and Chianina quality meat invite the visitor, the tourist and Nature's lover to plunge into the quietness of the country to enjoy its tastes and scents forgetting time which beyond the hills runs in its frantic rhythms.
In this wonderful landscape a rich range of high quality wines is produced they are the result of a research based on modern technologies and deep, ancient traditions.
At the tasting, "Ghirlandaia 2008" shone for its excellent taste softness, for its roundness, persistence and harmony (88 points). It was also good the reception on "Altico 2006" (86 points), "Vermiglio 2008" (84 points) and "Banconoli 2008" (84 points).

Presentation of 2008 Terre di Siena DOP oil are Friday 27th march 2009 at 13.20 at "San Cristoforo" restaurant, via Lodovico il Moro 11 , Milano.
After the meeting it will be possible to taste typical dishes prepared with Terre di Siena DOP oil by the chef Nicola Cavallaro you are gently requested to confirm your participation within 20/03/2009. DOP oil from Trequanda Farm, Siena, will be present at the event .
